CLASS POLICIES:
Please read as our classes have limited spaces:
-No reminder emails or phone calls will be sent. Please mark your calendar as a reminder.
-If a cancellation is made with notification with no less than a week before the class, the total minus a $20 deposit can be refunded.
-Cancellations will receive no refunds or transfers if made with less than a week before class. You are welcome to send someone else in your place, with prior notification.
-No-shows will receive no future credits or refunds.
-If you do have food restrictions, we might be able to substitute with prior notification but there is no guarantee as we are unable to rearrange the menu.
-Classes have age restrictions and will be enforced.
-We DO NOT invoice for 3rd party/Regional Centers. All payments must be made in advance. If you need individual receipts for reimbursements, be sure to sign up 1 class at a time.
We try to accommodate all situations but there is only so much we can do. Thank you for understanding.
Special Needs
Claremont Chefs Academy is proud to offer cooking classes for those with special needs. Our kitchen environment gives budding chefs the opportunity to discover the significance of cooking while building self-confidence and improving math, science, reading, history, and social skills. All classes are a hands-on experience and everyone is involved in the cooking! Classes are for ages 15 to adult.
In these classes students will:
-
have a 90 minute hands-on cooking experience
-
learn 2-3 different recipes
-
learn knife skills, proper measuring, culinary terms, and much more
-
eat what they make and receive the recipes at the end of class
Special Needs classes are held once per month on a Friday
6:00 to 7:30 pm
Ages 15 to Adult​
$50 per student​​
