Workshops

Bring the kids here for our special event cooking workshops and have an evening to yourselves. Try to catch a movie at the Laemmle Movie Theater or try out one of the local restaurants. These classes are usually held on the weekends and tend to run a bit longer than our regular classes.

WORKSHOP POLICIES:

Please read as our classes have limited spaces:

-No reminder emails or phone calls will be sent. Please mark your calendar as a reminder.

-If a cancellation is made with notification with no less than a week before the class, the total minus the processing fees can be refunded.

-Cancellations will receive no refunds or transfers if made with less than a week before class. You are welcome to send someone else in your place, with prior notification.

-No-shows will receive no future credits or refunds.

-If a reservation is made with a Gift Certificate (old Paper type, not online), the certificate will be considered used at the time the reservation was made. No transfers or credits.

-Workshops have age restrictions and will be enforced.

We try to accommodate all situations but there is only so much we can do. Thank you for understanding.

Halloween Cake Pop and Pizza Workshop SOLD OUT

Ages 7 to 14

Join us for this spooktacular cake pop workshop. You will learn to make scary creatures such as Jack-o-lantern, Witch, and a Spooky Ghost. Kids will also make Tombstone Pizzas.

Scout Cooking Merit Badge

November 29th, 10:00 to 12:00pm

Our scout cooking class offers recipes that can be recreated in a campfire environment. The scouts will fulfill the following requirements for a cooking merit badge, others must be done by the troop at the meetings.

We are an official Cooking Badge Counselor and can sign the blue cards for each scout that attends the event once they fulfill all the requirements.

4. Cooking at home

5. Camp Cooking

6. Trail and backpacking meals.

In class, we will do about 45 minutes of cooking- Campfire potatoes and Campfire Biscuits with Honey Butter that can be also be done in a camping environment.

We cover kitchen safety, knife skills, plus basic cooking techniques. We will then go through the book step by step, covering the above sections.
